Dynamic, creative soul seeking yoga instructor opportunities to leverage 10+ years yoga practice and 4 years teaching experience. Stellar understanding of smart yoga sequencing; basic bone and muscle anatomy in relation to the practice; the emotional, therapeutic and energetic components of yoga; self-care, postures, modifications and adjustments; common injury and special condition modifications (including pre and post-natal practice) and the ancient and recent sources of current yogic understanding.

I began practicing yoga locally in high school, but it was only after quitting my division III sport during college that my devotion to the practice truly blossomed. Not only did my body change shape and become more grounded and able, but I also felt a deep spiritual connection to the practice and the non-physical sensations that arise throughout it. I was thrilled to complete my 200 RYT from South Boston Yoga under the brilliant guidance of David Vendetti and Todd Skoglund in 2015. I began my journey as a Yoga Instructor at Blue Lotus Arts, a yoga, massage and acupuncture center in Greater Boston, after which I taught for 2 years at EF Education First’s corporate headquarters in Cambridge. In 2018, I brought my yoga teaching practice to various establishments across Central America including Rancho Margot, a sustainable and self-sufficient eco-lodge in Costa Rica, and Island Expeditions, an adventure basecamp off coast of Belize. I have most recently been teaching at B|e. Yoga and at Brooklyn Boulders in Union Square, Somerville.

My classes offer smart sequencing, a wide range of asanas, strengthening and alignment, breathing exercises, and of course, room to explore and have fun! I particularly enjoy helping my students with alignment and expression, and try to provide a generous shavasana adjustment at the end of class. I believe that the power of touch in yoga is important. In addition to my current teaching disciplines, I have experience instructing inversion workshops, foundations classes, soma ball rollouts and yin yoga.
